About

The TRAILS Mountain Biking program takes place throughout the spring, summer and fall. Rides are along the Wasatch Front and in Round Valley in Park City. The program runs as a group with a set start time and location. Rides are organized into beginner and advanced groups.

Equipment

TRAILS maintains a fleet of off-road handcycles and recumbent trikes, many of which are E-assist. We also utilize an array of accessories and adaptations to ensure every participant is properly equipped for their ride. Participants may also choose to bring their own off-road cycle.

What to Bring

Participants should plan to bring clothing appropriate for the day’s weather, sunglasses or eyewear, wear sunscreen and bring water for when riding. Helmets are provided and mandatory on all rides. Companions are welcome, however they must provide their own mountain bike. Instructors will carry necessary support tools and tubes for TRAILS program bikes.

The Right Fit

First time adaptive mountain bike riders should request a fitting for an off-road handcycle or recumbent during a cycling day at either Liberty or Sugarhouse parks. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
